In the San Francisco Bay Area, many projects require construction of structures below the ground level. The purpose of these projects is the development of underground garages, or other living spaces that do not require natural light such as home theater installations. Underground structures are primarily constructed of concrete and steel. Our engineering knowledge, innovative skills and field experience has resulted in the construction of some of the most complex underground structures in the Bay Area.
The operations involved with underground construction include excavation, shoring of the existing structure as well as the excavated areas; construction of concrete foundation and retaining walls, structural steel fabrication, installation of drainage and waterproofing systems, as well as interior finishes.
